Who we are
Established in the heart of the Port of Antwerp in 1984, Antramar bvba has grown to become an important contact in the Belgian transport businnes.
We are a recognised member of the Belgian Forwarders Association and Fiata. Our long-term experience coupled with our well-known reputation has resulted in the permanent growth of our activities both in Europe and throughout the rest of the world.
We handle both import and export cargo as well as trans-shipment cargo from worldwide origins towards worldwide destinations through close co-operation with our agents. In this respect we have built up a reputation for handling breakbulk / conventional cargoes of any size or commodity especially to African destinations.
Our full scope of expertise exists in shipping, forwarding, distribution and international logistics not only for our own clients but also on a freelance basis as consultants for other reputable Forwarding Companies throughout the world.
Forwarding
As our customers are situated around the entire globe we do not only handle import and export to and from Belgium, we also are active in crosstrades.
Our logistic department is well-equiped for rendering smooth, fast and reliable service for distribution in Europe whereby the situation of our port is certainly a major advantage to our customers. Also, the fact that Antramar’s office is so close to Brussels, the capital of the European Economic Community, gives us a lot of extra opportunities with regards to licenses and information.
We also maintain a direct computer link with the Belgian Customs Authorities through our Customs Brokerage department enabling us to render exceptional and hassle-free service to our clients.
Furthermore, as Antramar bvba is a recognized member of the Belgian Forwarders Association as well as F.I.A.T.a, total reliability and efficiency is what our customers know they can depend on.
NVOCC
We have our own groupage service to numerous African & Middle East destinations, not only to the ports but even inland destinations.
You will find that with our varying correspondents around the world we are able to maintain an active role in a lot of areas, ready to meet any services our customers require.
We are also agents for the BICO-LINE.
We operate NCB-LINE, specialized in Far-East trade lanes, focusing on import from mainland China.
